Thomas Hoffmann is an American artist living and working on Cape Cod. His more recent work tends towards imagined landscapes with evocative colors and various oil-painting techniques. He shows his work across New England. Tom came from a background in illustration and traditional landscape painting after receiving his B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design (Illustration) in 1987. He received his M.F.A. (Painting) from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1993. After a long hiatus in the real world working as a designer and software developer, Tom has returned to the work he loves, making oil paintings.
